2) Lucknow Super Giants – Mohsin Khan
The 15th edition of IPL is unearthing several exceptional talents, especially in the form of Indian left-arm pacers. Lucknow Super Giants are just a few wins away from booking a place in the playoffs, as they have claimed seven wins from ten games. The new franchise have backed their left-arm pacer, Mohsin Khan who produced a match-winning display against Delhi Capitals.
He picked up four wickets against the Capitals, conceding just 16 runs in his four-over spell. The 23-year-old also impressed against Punjab Kings last week, where he picked up three wickets, playing a big part in defending a low total. In just four outings this season, he has picked up eight wickets and has been utilized by his skipper in both, opening and slog overs.
Mohsin Khan was part of Lucknow’s playing XI for their first game against Gujarat Titans. However, he was not considered for selection for a couple of matches after that. He finally got another opportunity against Mumbai Indians, and this time, he grabbed it with both hands.
