West Indies star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has great on and off-field bond with former captain MS Dhoni. Bravo has been an integral part of Chennai Super Kings and the duo never fails to indulge in a great camaraderie. It is a well-known fact that all-rounder is a great musician too and loves dancing to tunes of his own created songs.

He recently composed a song for captain cool’s birthday and named it ‘Helicopter 7’ in order to dedicate him. The Caribbean all-rounder revealed that the idea of naming the song was given by none other than Dhoni’s beautiful wife, Sakshi. In fact, she has played an instrumental role in this epic composition.

Talking more about the song, Bravo told ABP News, “Yeah yeah (got a great response), from him (Dhoni) and from his wife (Sakshi). His wife was instrumental in some of the things put into the song. For example, naming the song helicopter was her idea. I wanted to call the song No. 7. I asked some of his fans too about the things they want, and the thing that stood out was helicopter. I’m just happy I was able to put together a project like this. The song reached a million views within an hour.”

The 36-year-old is too fond of music and wanted to do a piece for Dhoni before his retirement anyhow. He wanted to highlight the former skipper’s achievements in the song because his contribution to cricket was unmatchable. Bravo said that he didn’t have any idea that he is going to retire too soon.

MSD has done a lot for me: Dwayne Bravo

“I’m heavily into music, and I said to my musical team that I have to do a song for this guy, and I have to do it before he retires. The song came about because he has done so much for cricket, done so much for his country, and for me personally. He has done a lot for me, he has helped me to improve my game,” he added.

The amazing all-rounder on Wednesday became the first cricketer to have clinched 500 T20 wickets. He is also the second-highest wicket-taker for the yellow army of Chennai with 118 wickets in 113 IPL matches.
