World Cup-winning captain of 1983, Kapil Dev, heaped praises for the Indian team after yet another clinical performance against Australia in the 1st T20 as the home side took a lead of 1-0 in the ongoing series.

The former Indian all-rounder talked about the ruthlessness of the Indian side under the captaincy of Virat Kohli and hailed the Indian bowlers for hunting in a pack.

As a matter of fact, India last faced defeat in a bilateral ODI series against South Africa back in 2015 at home. The last time India faced a defeat in a Test series at home was against England back in 2012. However, Kapil Dev believes that the acid test for Virat Kohli’s side is yet to come for the upcoming tours to South Africa, England and Australia.

With the kind of approach the present Indian team has displayed, Dev is sure that Indians will come out of triumphant even in the challenging conditions abroad.

“It is very hard, if not impossible to beat this Indian side on home soil. I am eager to see this team do well overseas. The kind of players we have I am sure this team will play good cricket on foreign soil. The time is not far when Team India will conquer the world,” commented Kapil Dev according to ABP News.

Furthermore, the renowned Hindi commentator claimed that he has never seen such an impressive bowling attack which prey in packs. He then specially mentioned that the action of Kuldeep Yadav which makes it especially difficult for the batters to pick his line and length.

“I have never seen such an impressive bowling unit. They hunt in a pack. With the kind of action Kuldeep has, it has difficult to pick his wrong ones, no wonder the Australians are finding it hard to decipher him,” concluded the 58-year old.
