Likely Indian squad for the World T20 2016

2. All-rounders

Available all-rounders: Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Irfan Pathan, Rishi Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh

Among the probables, three all-rounders should be picked. Ravindra Jadeja has hit form in the right time and is a certainty in the final 15. Axar Patel and Rishi Dhawan who are a part of India’s ODI side are also in contention but it is unlikely that they will get the nod in the final 15 after they were dropped from the T20I team against Australia.

Hardik Pandya who played in the India’s T20 side to Australia and bowled decently and he could also be picked for the final 15. Irfan Pathan, Man of the Match in 2007 World T20 final has been on fine form and might be a surprise pick for the final 15 too.

MS Dhoni would like to have as many all-rounders he can in T20Is and he would be glad to have Yuvraj Singh back in the team. In Indian conditions, he can be considered as an all-rounder as he can capable of bowling some tight overs with the ball apart from his batting skills.

Possible all-rounders: Yuvraj Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya.
