MS Dhoni completes 50 matches in T20Is as Indian Captain: During the 1st T20I against South Africa at Dharamsala, India captain MS Dhoni became the first captain in T20I format to led a side in 50 matches.
The next player on the list is Ireland’s William Porterfield who led his side in 41 T20Is.
MS Dhoni holds the record for most wins in T20Is and most losses in T20Is as captain as well.
Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, India won 26 T20Is, the most wins for any captain in T20Is. Ireland’s Porterfield and West Indies’ Darren Sammy stand 2nd with 21 wins as captain.
