In the Ranji Trophy 2016-17 Round 4, Day 3 Maharashtra are closing towards a first innings lead as the Team Rajasthan are 8 down for 299 at end of Day 3 in reply to Maharashtra’s total of 461. Ashok Menaria got out for 42 in the morning after putting on an 86-run stand with Manender Singh for the 3rd wicket. After trying Maharashtra’s bowlers, Manender got out for a 63 off 185 balls. Mahipal Lomror threw his wicket after settling down scoring 32 off 101 balls. For Punjab Manan Vohra scored a double century and ended the day unbeaten on 201 having batted for 355 balls with the help of 17 boundaries and a couple of sixes. Left-hander Yuvraj Singh also got among runs as he scored yet another century, his second in this season and was not out on 179 as Punjab still trail by 77 runs with 452 on the board for the loss of a couple of wickets.
