4. Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina– the left-handed Indian middle-order batsman is also known by the name of Mr IPL by his fans. His reflexes and quickness cannot be compared with any other player in the tournament. Raina has been the part of CSK since his debut and played an important role in team’s triumph to the title back in 2009, 2010 and 2018.
After CSK got suspended for a span of two years from taking part in the tournament. Even, Raina was appointed as the skipper of Gujarat Lions before it got dissolved on the arrival of CSK and RR in the league. The Indian international became the first player to score 5000 runs in the Indian Premier League. At the moment, he has mustered 5368 runs in 193 games studded with one ton and 38 half-centuries.
Raina is also the second leading run-scorer in IPL. Moreover, he has scored more than 300 runs in back to back 12 seasons for his team. Many critics feel that the time for Suresh Raina is over but that is not the case. He will soon mark his arrival in his prime with the bat. Hence, he clinches 4th position in the list of the all-time best batsman in the history of IPL.
