Mickey Arthur’s stay as Australia’s head coach was not great. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) signed him three years after his controversial from the post in Australia and it worked wonders for the Men in Green. Arthur was extremely with the players’ fitness and his association with the skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is well known to many.

The duo won the famous Champions Trophy for Pakistan in 2017 and it took extreme hard work from Arthur as he infused discipline among the group and taught them to stick together as a team. The CT 2017 tournament was the highest point of Arthur’s stint with Pakistan and suddenly everything fell apart in the next couple of years.

The team didn’t do well in the World Cup in England and it led to his unceremonious exit from the helm. He is currently Sri Lanka’s head coach and the islanders are also hoping for Arthur to fetch similar results much like he did with their neighbours.
