Sachin’s Blasters v Warne’s Warriors, 1st T20 in pics: The 1st T20 between the Blasters and Warriors unfolded some scintillating candid moments and along with some fine performances. Wasim Akram displayed a class act, while Shoaib Akhtar still carried some raw pace. Ricky Ponting played a match winning knock of unbeaten 48, while Kumar Sangakkara and Sachin Tendulkar took the world to a decade back. Matthew Hayden got out to Shoaib Akhtar, while Jacques Kallis fell short of his crease. Kumar Sangakkara’s 41 off 29 balls, along with 3 sixes and 2 boundaries were vital, as Ricky Ponting did the rest with a match winning 48 not out. With 6 runs to win from 17 balls, Jonty Rhodes recalled all the good times by hitting a lolly from Tendulkar to the stands.
