Team India batter, Virat Kohli is arguably the fiercest and most tenacious cricketer and has set a benchmark in terms of fitness levels. The flamboyant batter is capable of turning games around in the blink of an eye and makes it a point to maintain his body fitness at a competitive level.

The batter is currently on a break from his India duties and was seen spending time with his family on a trip to Nainital recently. After returning from the trip, Virat, who is known to sweat it out in the gym, shared a post on social media where he can be seen working out.

“Back at it,” read Virat Kohli’s caption on Instagram. One Instagram user reacted to his post by saying that many people argue that you can't become muscular without consuming meat.

"And then they say you can't be muscular if you don't eat meat," read one of the user’s comments. Virat did not hold back and immediately came up with an epic response.

"hahaha the biggest myth in the world,” responded Virat.

It is understood that the right-hander turned vegetarian a few years ago for health benefits but was previously a non-vegetarian. Moreover, it is his diet and workout that invigorate his game.

Virat Kohli to join squad for Bangladesh series

Virat was last seen in action in the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and was immediately given a break ahead of the New Zealand tour. Furthermore, team India will conclude their three-match ODI series against the Kiwis and will then fly to the neighbouring land of Bangladesh where Virat will join the squad.

The batter amassed 296 runs in the marquee event down under and finished as the highest run-getter at the showpiece event. Undoubtedly, Virat will hope to maintain his fitness and also his form in the Bangladesh series.
