Former India skipper Virat Kohli, along with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, have rented a home in Mumbai's Juhu locality. It is a sea-facing apartment with a floor space of 1,650 square feet on the fourth storey of the High Tide building. The rent, per month, amounts to Rs. 2.76 lakhs and the unit includes two underground parking areas as well.

According to reports, Virat Kohli made a deposit of Rs 7.50 lakh during the registration process, which was carried out on October 17. Samarjitsinh Gaekwad, a former cricketer and member of the Vadodara royal family, is the owner of the property. The two had recently acquired a lavish farmhouse in Maharashtra's Alibaug, for almost Rs 19.24 crore.

After Team India's elimination from the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, Kohli is currently taking a break from national duty. The right-handed batter scored the most runs during the championship games in Australia, 296 from six games, and contributed with some notable knocks as the Men in Blue advanced to the semifinal before losing the match against England.

The 34-year-old made history in the event by becoming the first T20I batsman to complete 4000-plus runs. The contemporary batting great is grabbing the spotlight for purchasing and renting houses in Maharashtra after drawing notice with his domineering batting skills in the T20 World Cup 2022. The Delhi cricketer, who already has a sizeable number of properties in the Delhi-NCR, is also making purchases in Mumbai and the surrounding regions.

Kohli to feature in Bangladesh series next

Kohli will next be seen playing against Bangladesh as the Indian squad tours the neighboring nation for three ODIs and two Tests starting December 4th. Alongside Kohli, senior players KL Rahul and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma have also taken a break from the ongoing New Zealand tour. Hardik Pandya led the side in the T20Is and won the series by 1-0 earlier this week. The ODI squad will be led by Shikhar Dhawan as the three-match series is set to commence on November 25, Friday.
