New Zealand reveal jersey for T20 World Cup 2024

With the T20 World Cu 2024 looming on the horizon, the various international sides are gearing up to prepare their best squads for the marquee tournament. With the World Cup set to kick off on June 2, on Monday, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) came forward to reveal their jersey for the competition. 

Driving away from their theme of black, NZC applied a retro touch to their T20 World Cup jersey, with turquoise colours and New Zealand written in the middle on a white background. The board revealed the jersey for the tournament, with the likes of Ish Sodhi, Michael Bracewell, Tim Southee, Mark Chapman, Jimmy Neesham featuring in the photoshoot.

“The team's kit for the 2024 @T20WorldCup. Available at the NZC store from tomorrow,” NZC tweeted on their 'X' handle.

Kane Williamson to lead NZ in T20 World Cup 2024

Speaking of New Zealand, the board recently came forward to announce their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. It was announced that veteran batter Kane Williamson will lead the side in the USA and the West Indies, and the likes of Mark Chapman, Trent Boult, Michael Bracewell, Devon Conway, and many more could feature as well.

Currently, several of NZ’s stars are competing in the ongoing season of the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2024 and they will be joining the national team’s camp right after the end of their respective IPL campaigns. It is worth noting that some players who were not a part of the IPL were involved in the recently concluded T20I series between New Zealand and Pakistan.
