Rohit Sharma reveals his admiration for Bollywood movie 12th Fail

Critically acclaimed Bollywood movie 12th Fail has been making headlines over the past few months for its excellent storyline as director's Vidhu Vinod Chopra cinematic masterpiece has garnered praise from several eminent personalities. The movie which beautifully portrays the struggles of UPSC aspirants, connected with the souls of the youth who toil hard year after year to crack the toughest exam of the country.
India captain Rohit Sharma is the latest entrant in the fanclub of 12th Fail as he recently revealed his admiration for actor Vikrant Massey’s magnum opus. Speaking at an event, Rohit was quizzed about which movie or show had had binged on recently. The 36-year-old revealed that he got the chance to watch 12th fail and sang praise of the film.
“I watched the movie called 12th fail, very good film,” Rohit can be heard saying in a viral video.

Notably, 12th Fail is a biopic of Manoj Kumar Sharma who fought with hardships to become an IPS officer. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will be seen back in action as India take on England in the third Test of the five-match series on Thursday, February 15 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.
The Indian skipper hasn’t been in the best of form of late registering scores of 24, 39, 14 and 13 in the series so far. In the four innings, Rohit has accumulated 90 runs at an average of 22.50. India will desperately need their captain to fire in the upcoming game with the batting lineup lacking experience due to the absence of Virat Kohli.

In another major blow to India, KL Rahul has also been ruled out of the upcoming Test as he failed to gain match fitness in time. He will continue his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and Devdutt Padikkal has been announced as his replacement.
Notably, the five-match series is currently tied 1-1 and both teams will be desperate to take a lead by winning the upcoming fixture.
