Harpreet Brar brought out his trademark thigh-five celebration during Match 59 of IPL 2025 between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday, May 18. This was after Harpreet got rid of Riyan Parag for 13 off 11.
The RR vice-captain intended to heave the length ball on the on-side, however, the extra zip off the deck got the better of Parag, who was beaten all ends up. Harpreet conceded only three runs in his final over, ending up with figures of 3/22 in four overs.
Coming in a PBKS' Impact Player in place of Shreyas Iyer, who was subbed out after the first innings, Brar was crucial in breaking through the opening batters of RR (Yashasvi Jaiswal for 50 off 25 and Vaibhav Suryavanshi for 40 off 15). He conceded only two boundaries in his quota, bowling nine dot balls. Yuzvendra Chahal (0/30 in four overs) was also standout performer for the Kings.
