WATCH: Vaibhav Suryavanshi negotiates for bat with Nitish Rana; video goes viral

In the ongoing IPL 2025, the youngest cricketer in the history of the league, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, was seen negotiating with his teammate Nitish Rana for a bat.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) shared a video on social media where Vaibhav was trying to convince Rana to give him his bat. Meanwhile, Rana didn't look very convinced, thinking that the young boy already has a lot of bats to play with in the IPL.

"Main 5 bat deta hu tereko, agar uska ratio 14 se upar gaya, to bat nahi milega (I will give you five bats, but if the number goes beyond 14, I won’t)," Nitish said.

To which Vaibhav replied saying, "Mereko ek hi chahiye. Baat ye hai. Mereko 5 nahi chahiye (I want only one bat, that’s it. I don’t want five)".

The conversation didn't end there. They kept on discussing the number of bats they have and whether Nitish was ready to give him another bat to add to his collection. 

Nitish said, "Saari to teri nahi chalegi na beta (Everything won’t be done as you say)." The young batter replied saying, "14. Mere age se agar zyada balle huye aap ne bola tere paas hai. Agar usse zyada huye aap jisko bologe main bat de dunga (You said if I have more bats than my age, I will have to give away the bat to someone. I will)."

Then Rana gave a cheeky reply saying, "Mere bat hai meri marzi main kitne bhi du (Those are my bats, I will decide how many to give you)."

Suryavanshi, 14, became the youngest player to hit a century in the tournament's history recently. The Bihar player hit the century in 35 balls, surprising the cricket fraternity. It was a thrilling match to witness for the fans as the Suryavanshi carnage took on the Gujarat Titans (GT) bowlers. RR convincingly won against GT in that match, but they are now eliminated from the tournament because of their poor performances thus far.
