The West Indian legendary batsman, Brian Lara had showed his consistency with bat also while leading the side as he scored 56 fifty plus scores in the 204 innings he batted as captain out of which 19 fifties turned out to be three digit scores. In Tests, out of 85 innings he had 33 fifty plus scores and on 14 occasions, he converted them into centuries. Whereas in ODIs, he could manage only 23 fifty plus scores out of 119 innings along with 5 centuries.
