Australia broke India’s record for the highest score in the World Cup by making 417/6 against Afghanistan at Perth. David Warner hit 178 and Steven Smith hit 95 with Glen Maxwell wreaking havoc in the end overs by making 88 off 39 balls. 4 of the Afghan bowlers went for more than 70 runs in their 10 overs and 2 of them went for 80 runs. Dawlat Zadran was the unlucky one to go for 101 runs in his 10 overs.
