Top 10 Most successful captains in international Cricket: A captain always needs to lead the team from the front with his contributions and tactical decisions to become successful. But only few captains have stood out ahead, irrespective of the format they have led their teams in. They might be successful because of having a good team, that they have built or the decisions they made at a particular point of the game.

Here we look at the Top 10 Most successful captains in international Cricket i.e. captains with most wins in all forms of the game:

10. Arjuna Ranatunga (Sri Lanka) – 101 wins:

Easily Ranatunga was the player who raised the level of Sri Lanka in Cricket with his captaincy. He led his side to 101 wins in all forms of cricket out of the 249 matches he acted as captain with 89 of those coming in the ODI format including a World Cup title in 1996 and other 12 wins in the Test format.
