Indian teams are quite busy with International cricket at the moment as India Under-19s will tour England a week after the senior team turned from England after completion of the World Cup. India A is currently in the Caribbean for the unofficial ODIs and Tests against the hosts. The India Under-19s will be part of the Tri-Nation tournament for Under-19s which will commence on Sunday and will be played till the final on 11th August.

England and Bangladesh are the two sides which India will be playing in this long tournament. Each team will play four games apiece against the corresponding opponent in the league phase. The Indian team is led by Priyam Garg while the hosts play under George Balderson’s captaincy. The England Youth side is no different from the senior team in batting approach as they posted 372/5 in the warm-up game against Ireland academy.

The 1st game of the Tri-Nation U19 Tournament between England Under-19s and India Under-19s will be played at the New Road in Worcester.
