South Africa is currently bossing the ongoing third Test match against Australia as they are batting much better in their second essay. They have weathered the Aussie bowling attack brilliantly who have found some excessive reverse swing on the day with their tactics. But the home side have fought gamely and are well ahead in the game with the lead crossing 250 as they still have seven wickets in hand. However, the Indian captain Virat Kohli praised the batting of Aiden Markram only to jinx him as he got out soon.

Australia were bowled out for 255 earlier in the day as the home side earned a crucial 56-run lead in the first innings. However, South Africa lost Dean Elgar early in the innings which brought Hashim Amla as he along with Markram steadied the ship patiently. Though Amla was dismissed later, his partner played well and stuck it out with AB de Villiers.

Kohli praises Markram

Virat Kohli had termed Aiden Markram as the ‘special talent’ during the ODI series against South Africa in last month and he was certainly proving him right with his batting. Amidst the reverse swing which the Aussies were extracting, Markram played some delightful strokes which were absolutely pleasing to the eyes. Even Virat, who was also following the Test match, couldn’t stop himself from praising the youngster for his efforts. “Aiden Markram is a delight to watch!,” he tweeted on his official Twitter handle.

Unfortunately, Markram was dismissed soon on 84 by Mitchell Starc at the stroke of tea and he missed the well-deserved century. Meanwhile, Twitterati which was showering love on Virat Kohli for his special tweet for the youngster dramatically started trolling him for jinxing such a beautiful innings. While there was nothing the Indian skipper would’ve done about his dismissal, Tweeples trolled him hilariously after Markram was sent back into the hut.
