Pakistan cricket has been blessed with quite a few handy all-rounders, Shoaib Malik is one of them. He made his debut way back in 1999 and his career has spanned nearly a couple of decades, like a marathon. The Sialkot-born cricketer has been a stalwart in their middle order, but the Men in Green need to look for his replacement going into the future as at the age of 36, he isn’t getting any younger.

He retired from Tests following his unexpected return to the format after five years. Recently, the veteran also announced his retirement from ODI cricket, however, showed his keenness to play T20 cricket, provided fitness permits. Moreover, he expressed his desire to win the World Cup for his name. It now remains to be seen whether he continues playing the shortest format or not.
