India vs Pakistan matches is never low on energy and when you add the atmosphere and occasion of World Cup into it, the encounter becomes a matter of pride. In this ICC World CUP 2003 clash at Centurion, Pakistan batted first and scored a respectable 273, thanks to 101 from India’s nemesis Saeed Anwar.

Though the match is remembered for the brilliant sixes hit by Sachin Tendulkar off Shoaib Akhtar and Virender Sehwag off Waqar Younis and Sachin’s brilliant match-winning innings of 98, when Sachin departed, India still needed 99 runs to win the match. The match was finished by the combo of Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh, who silenced the once again riled up Akhtar and finished the match by hitting a boundary and reaching his 50.
