The hosts dominated the proceedings against the Proteas by securing a historic win at Centurion by 113 runs. India dominated Day 1 of the Test whereas no play was possible on Day 2 as rain interrupted the match. KL Rahul displayed his prowess and hit an impressive century in India’s first innings as India managed to score 327 runs. The fast bowling unit then took the responsibility to take the charge of the game. India’s pacer bundled up the Proteas at 197 runs as Mohammed Shami secured his five-wicket haul. Whereas in South Africa’s second innings they were wrapped up at 191 whilst chasing 305 runs.
