England opener Alex Hales and skipper Alastair Cook stood strong on day 3 and took the team to the end of the day without any loss. The Pakistan bowlers sent the pair back to the hut early on day 4 but the English batsmen showed a lot of resolve and batted through without much trouble. They were tested time and again but the focus was to not lose the concentration and momentum in the game.

At the end of the 4th day’s play former English skipper, Michael Vaughan on his Twitter account posted –  ‘Only 81 overs bowled today … 10% down … The game has to do something to stop this … It’s madness .. #ENGvPAK’

Following which a spectator – Alexis Fuller, who was present at Edgbaston to watch the game on Friday, asked for a 10 percent refund on the ticket amount he had paid.

Fuller said Tweeted – “I want 10% of my money back. Wouldn’t go to football and find it ended after 80mins.”
