Anushka Sharma's response to Mandeep Singh's 'beautiful' tweet is pure gold
Anushka Sharma was celebrating her 30th birthday on the day when RCB played MI.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore haven’t had the kind of start that they would have wished for in the 11th edition of the IPL. The franchise has shown flashes of brilliance here and there but that hasn’t been enough to take them over the line on several occasions. However, irrespective of the result, Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma is seen at the stadium supporting the franchise and cheering for the team.
On Tuesday, Anushka was celebrating her 30th birthday when RCB faced the Mumbai Indians. RCB needed a win badly to regain the lost confidence. The men in red did not disappoint and it was a perfect birthday present for Anushka too. RCB beat Mumbai by 14 runs to remain in the hunt for the playoffs. Mandeep Singh, who has been entrusted with the finisher’s role by the Bangalore team management this season, posted a beautiful message on Anushka’s birthday.

He tweeted: “Happy birthday Bhabhi ji Anushka Sharma you are not just an amazing actress, you are also a beautiful human being Baba ji hamesha tuhanu khush rakhan.” The cricketer also posted a picture with his wife and Anushka Sharma. Mandeep’s wife and Anushka are usually at the Stadium cheering for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in all their matches.
The actress thanked Mandy for wishing her and replied: ”Very good very good thank you Mandy!” It was Anushka’s first birthday with husband Virat Kohli and the skipper made it special by beating the Mumbai Indians.
Though it was just a win in the context of the points table, it may be the start of a winning momentum that is needed in such a long tournament. Pulling up a couple of victories can do a lot of good to struggling franchises. They must take this opportunity to build pressure on other franchises that are languishing at the bottom of the table.
