Australia vs India: 5 batsmen who can end the Test series as the leading run-scorer
The series will get underway on December 6 at Adelaide Oval.
Cheteshwar Pujara
Cheteshwar Pujara was first included into the Indian team as a replacement for The Wall of Indian cricket, the great Rahul Dravid after he retired. Pujara has shown his potential and ridiculously impressive temperament on many occasions, both, at home and overseas. The 30-year-old is known to play some really big knocks when he gets going and it becomes hard for bowlers to get under his skins.
Pujara, in the 64 Tests he has played in his career, averages 49.55, but at the same time, he seems to like playing against Australia. The right-hander has played 12 tests against the Aussies and has scored a brilliant 1101 runs at an impressive average of over 55, with the highest score being 204. No surprise, that he is expected to be amongst the leading run-scorers in the series.
