Cricketers are known for their unique celebrations after picking up a wicket and everyone has their own way. Axar Patel, in the third ODI against Sri Lanka, broke into a jig which amused everyone after dismissing the opponent skipper Chamara Kapugedera.

Sri Lanka once again failed to post a competitive total in the third One-Day International after winning the toss. They never looked comfortable against the disciplined Indian bowlers and lost wickets regularly. The returning Lahiru Thirimanne played defiant innings worth 80 off 105 deliveries and justified his selection. The left hander played some beautiful strokes and his knock comprised of 5 fours and a solitary maximum. Sri Lanka could only score 217 off their 50 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah was excellent and almost unplayable throughout his 10 overs and scalped 5 wickets. He was assisted by other bowlers as well and Patel, in particular, was canny with his line and lengths. For the third time in the series, the left-arm spinner gave runs at an economy of less than four. He also picked up the wicket of the Sri Lanka skipper Kapugedera.

Axar Patel broke into the jig in the 44th over. Kapugedera attempted to play an inside out loft off the last delivery of the over in search of a couple of runs. But the bowler got the ball to drift and it shattered his leg stump. The video of the bowler performing his dance moves is going viral on social media. Also, the reaction of MS Dhoni from behind the wickets was amusing.

Team India is enjoying a good run in Sri Lanka and the visitors will look to seal the series today at Pallekele. India though were rocked early in their chase as the opponents have dismissed in-form Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli inside first 10 overs. Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni are at the crease looking to consolidate as India are 91/4 after 10 overs.
