BCB releases itinerary for Zimbabwe series in October-November

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released today the itinerary for Bangladesh’s upcoming home matches against Zimbabwe in October and November. The team is presently in the West Indies where they defeated the hosts 2-1 in the ODI series after they were beaten black and blue in the Test series. Their next assignment in the country is the three-match T20I series, which starts on August 1.

Zimbabwe’s tour of Bangladesh will start when the visitors arrive in the nation on October 16. Thereafter, the visiting team will play a one-day practice match on October 19 in Savar after which the ODI series gets underway on October 21 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. The next couple of One Dayers will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

After playing a three-day warm-up match in Chittagong, Zimbabwe will take part in the two-match Test series, which starts on November 3 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, the venue is also set to host its first ever Test match after making its international debut back in the 2014 World T20. Zimbabwe are scheduled to depart Bangladesh on November 16 after the conclusion of the second Test.
