BCCI shares the video of 'in-house magician' Shreyas Iyer as he wows fans with his card tricks

The rising proliferation of the pandemic that is the Coronavirus has sent alarm bells ringing around the world. More than 11,000 people have fallen prey to the virus and lakhs of people have been infected by the pandemic in more than 100 countries. From International borders, schools, colleges, factories, movie theaters, gym, everything has come under lockdown, as the world is gradually coming in terms with self-isolation and self-distancing.’ The world of sports is one of the worst-hit areas due to coronavirus. Almost every sporting event, ranging from Premier League, La Liga, NBA, has been called-off. Cricket has also seen most of its marquee tournaments get either postponed or cancelled. And, with no action on the field, Indian cricketers are resorting to different tricks to keep themselves engaged at home. While the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Shami are engaging themselves in Tik-Tok videos, KL Rahul recently shared a video of him playing PlayStation to kill time. The latest to join the bandwagon is India’s No.4 batsman in white-ball cricket- Shreyas Iyer. The official twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently posted a video of the Mumbaikar wowing his fans with a card trick. “Trust our in-house magician @ShreyasIyer15 to keep us entertained when we are all indoors. Even the Indian cricketers have urged the fans to follow the same and have done their bit in a bid to fight Coronavirus. Cricket has also been affected by Coronavirus Cricket has been very badly affected by the steadily escalating situation. Most of the tournaments have been called-off or postponed and its marquee franchise competition also faces the threat of being cancelled for the season. The Indian Premier League (IPL) was scheduled to start from March 29 but it was postponed till April 15 after the change in visa issuance policy by the Indian government. A final decision on the same is expected to be taken in a few days.
