Romario Shepherd maybe another name that not a lot of people would’ve heard of. The 24-year-old pacer has been a revelation for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. In eight innings, he has taken 12 wickets. What’s impressive is that he is taking a wicket almost every 13 deliveries.

Hence, he has been one of the big performers for the Warriors and has contributed in their run to the final. Shepherd has been around in the West Indies domestic circuit for the last two-three years now. He made his List ‘A’ debut for Guyana in 2016 and a year later, he made his first-class debut.

He already has an impressive record and has an average of under 25 in all three formats (domestic cricket). Shepherd may be a touch expensive in the shorter formats but has the knack of picking up wickets. Hence, he could be a good and useful addition in the IPL as well.
