2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal will be a key batter of the RR as his responsibility in the team will be to provide fine starts with his opening partner Jos Buttler. Playing 10 games in the 2022 season, he racked up 258 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 132.98. In the forthcoming tournament, the team management will expect better from him.
This year, he also played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Mumbai and scored 266 runs in 10 games at a strike rate of 141.48. The left-hander continued his form in Vijay Hazare Trophy and hit 396 runs in six games, at an economy of 95.65. With this batting performance, he also became the top scorer for his team in the tournament.
In the 2023 IPL edition, the franchise will also look forward to him delivering some magnificent numbers with his bat. Last month, he also looked spectacular against Bangladesh A with his dominating innings of 146 runs. Noting his consistency after the IPL 2022, the RR will count on his opening batting skills again in 2023.
