2. Dhruv Jurel
Dhruv Jurel, who plays as a wicketkeeper-batter, was included in the 15-member ODI squad for the West Indies home series as the second wicketkeeper option behind vice-captain KL Rahul. Ishan Kishan's involvement in the Asian Games 2026 created the vacancy that allowed Jurel to earn his recall to the ODI setup. He last played an ODI during India's tour of Australia.
Jurel has also been impressive in List A cricket, scoring 747 runs in 17 matches at an average of 74.70. He has a strike rate of 113.35, with two centuries and six fifties to his name. His highest score in the format is an unbeaten 160, highlighting his consistency and ability to score big when set.
