In the 50 T20Is that he has played, Karthik scored 592 runs at a strike rate of 133.95. In his new role, Karthik is expected to blast right from the first ball and thus, his strike rate as a finisher is not something to be concerned about. It, however, needs to be seen whether India will go ahead with him or will turn to Rishabh Pant for a left-hand batter in the middle order.
