3. Who are the two first-timers in the ODI squad?
Punjab all-rounder Naman Dhir and Jammu and Kashmir's Auqib Nabi have been named as part of the ODI squad for the West Indies. Dhir is a highly rated batting all-rounder regarded for his power game and his ability to score quickly. He has also been a key performer for the Mumbai Indians for the past couple of seasons, despite tumultuous campaign for the five-time champions.
Nabi, on the other hand, has been highly rated in the domestic game for his performances with the ball, having taken 104 wickets in the last two seasons of the Ranji Trophy, which has led to calls for his inclusion into the Indian setup becoming prominent. Both these inclusions point to India wanting to use this series to give a chance to potential future stars and use this as a platform to evolve the team further.
