Last season, Gujarat Titans (GT) made their IPL debut remarkable as they clinched the title in their first season only. Under their skipper Hardik Pandya, the franchise looked calm and composed. The first-time IPL captain Pandya and coach Ashish Nehra received a lot of appreciation for doing their role efficiently. After being amazing in the previous edition, the franchise will look to go ahead with the same confidence in 2023 too.

At the mini-auction 2023, they participated with their purse of INR 19.25 crores after releasing some non-performing names in November. In the event, the franchise purchased some players who could do wonders for them in the 2023 edition. With the addition of these names, the franchise will look forward to getting some positive results in the tournament.

Here is the playing XI of Gujarat Titans (GT) after their buys in the mini-auction

1. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill became a part of Gujarat Titans (GT) at the mega auction 2022 at INR 8 crore. His numbers with the bat for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) from 2018-2021 made him reliable to become a Titan. Playing for the franchise, he delivered great starts to the team with his fearless batting style. The opening batter racked up 483 runs in 16 games at a strike rate of 132.32, with four half-centuries.

Delivering these figures to the team, the batter played his role very well. In 2023, he will go to the tournament as a match-winner. Going through his batting capability and last edition's numbers, the franchise will expect huge figures from him again in the next edition. This year, whenever he got a chance to appear for India, the 23-year-old showed his best.

The youngster also notched up his first One Day International (ODI) and Test century against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh respectively. Talking about his T20I display, the youngster is yet to make his debut. However, in the domestic tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23, he scored 260 runs in six games, at a strike rate of 156.62.
