2. Ajinkya Rahane

Former India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane started his IPL journey at the Mumbai Indians back in 2008 when the league started. He spent three seasons at MI before playing for teams like Rajasthan Royals, Rising Pune Supergiants, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Playing for Mumbai, Rahane scored 148 runs from 10 matches.

The right-handed batter joined CSK ahead of IPL 2023. Last year, he scored 326 runs from 14 matches at an average of 32.60 and a strike rate of 172.49. This was his best strike rate for a particular season in the IPL. This year, he hasn't hit the ground running, having scored 119 runs from five matches at an average of 29.75 and a strike rate of 130.77.
