4. Mujeeb Ur Rahman

Mujeeb Ur Rahman broke into the IPL in 2018 due to his skilled off-break spin bowling. Playing his maiden season for Punjab Kings (PBKS), the Afghan bowler showcased his talent with 14 wickets in 11 matches at an economy rate of 6.99. In 2019 and 2020, the bowler looked below-par as he took only three wickets in seven games.

In 2021, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) trusted Rahman to reinforce their bowling line-up. Playing only one game in the entire season, he delivered his best. Clinching 2/29 figures in four overs against the defending champions Mumbai Indians, the spinner delivered his best.

In 2022, he failed to participate in the tournament after going unsold in the mega auction 2021. At the mini-auction 2023, he failed to attract any franchises again which means he won’t be able to play in the 2023 edition of the league.  However, he is one of the finest spinners in T20Is with 49 scalps in 36 games, at a spectacular economy of 6.22.
