Peak brainrot
With rain being the biggest winner so far, we guess its the time for the richest cricket board to consider weather-proof cricket venues. What do you think?
Rohit Sharma is desperate to bat
Patience is running out for not only the cricket fans but star batter Rohit Sharma as well, since he seems to be eagerly waiting for the rain to stop and finally step onto the field to shower fours and sixes from his marauding blade.
And the worry just continues
More of a hope than belief
Honestly, at this point of time, fans will believe any speculation. However, the clouds over the HPCA Stadium have really gotten us worried. What do you think?
Uh Oh!
Groundsmen are bringing in additional covers to save the square and outfield from the rain effect.
The super soppers are also raring to do their job.
It seems that this might resume shortly after the rain stops completely.

The Shubman Gill-led side, if at all the match happens, is expected to hand at least one debut cap in its Playing XI, with Prince Yadav or Gurnoor Brar being the frontrunners to get one as India's third pacer in the match. However, young all-rounder Harsh Dubey can also be handed a game given his ability to contribute in multiple departments.
For Afghanistan, Rashid Khan, the star spinner, has returned to action but experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nabi's inclusion remains in doubt due to illness. Both were not part of the one-off Test, where the Afghans lost by a mammoth margin of an innings and 300 runs in New Chandigarh. The white-ball leg of the tour will give them an excellent opportunity to register their first win against the Men in Blue in international cricket.
Ahead of the contest, there were high hopes that the picturesque venue will be host to its tenth-ever ODI match in a grand fashion. However, just as the players arrived at the ground, it started raining. Even before the captains wore their blazers for the toss, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially confirmed that the toss had been delayed.
The weather is supposed to stay inclement throughout the course of the match's official hours, with their being uncertainty regarding the full and uninterrupted conduct of the all-important 50-over encounter between the Asian giants.
