PAK vs ENG: Spidercam falls during security rehearsals ahead of first T20I
The technical crew at the stadium rushed to the ground to resolve the issue.
Pakistan is set to take on England in a seven-match T20I series slated to start on September 20 (Tuesday) at the National Stadium, Karachi. Both teams will want to come on top in the series and prepare for the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, a bizarre incident occurred during a security rehearsal ahead of the first match as the spider cam installed in the stadium fell after a helicopter reportedly came in contact with the wires.

The technical crew at the stadium rushed to the ground to resolve the issue while the official broadcasters also expressed their concern over the incident. However, the situation was back to normal after the technical team got things under control.
Meanwhile, the visiting team is missing quite a few key players, including their permanent skipper Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes. In their absence, senior all-rounder Moeen Ali is set to lead the English team. The Men in Green, on the other hand, have announced a strong contingent and are the clear favorites to win the series.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's bowling coach Shaun Tait has praised Naseem and said that his new-ball skills are excellent.
“In some ways, Naseem Shah reminds me of myself when I was a younger cricketer. He’s sort of free-spirited. But I wasn’t as intelligent as he is at this age. I think you’ve all seen his natural abilities and skill with the new ball, which is excellent,” Tait said in the press conference ahead of Pakistan's first match.
"Pakistan fast bowlers have their natural abilities. They like to keep things simple but they’ve got so much ability and have a lot of flair. So, that’s already ingrained in these guys,” Tait said about the bowling culture of Pakistan.
