14-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has already become a fan favorite with his batting heroics. Recently, two young girls named Aanya and Rivaa drove six hours to Worcester to meet the cricketers. Dressed in Rajasthan Royals jerseys and cheering from the stands, they finally got their photo with Suryavanshi.

The incident was shared by the Rajasthan Royals on X (formerly Twitter), mentioning the southpaw's craze in England. "Proof why we have the best fans. Drove for 6 hours to Worcester. Wore their Pink 🇮🇳 Cheered for Vaibhav & Team India Aanya and Rivaa, as old as Vaibhav himself, had a day to remember," the caption wrote.

After making a memorable debut in the 2025 IPL season with Rajasthan Royals, where he became the youngest player ever to score a century in men’s T20 cricket, the southpaw carried that form to England with the India U19 team.

In the five-match Youth ODI series against England U19, he has scored 355 runs across five matches, including a 143 off just 78 balls in the fourth ODI at Worcester. Notably, his hundred came in just 52 balls, making it the fastest ever in Youth ODI history, surpassing Pakistan’s Kamran Ghulam.

Suryavanshi first made headlines during IPL 2025, where he smashed a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans, earning him the tag of the youngest IPL centurion and the second-fastest ton in IPL history. At just 13, he had become the youngest player to be bought at an IPL auction, going to the Royals for INR 1.1 crore.

I will try to play for a long time like him: Suryavanshi on Shubman Gill

In England, his scores of 48, 45, 86, and the record-breaking 143 before a 33 in the final ODI have been instrumental in India U19’s 3-2 series win. Even in the games where the top order collapsed, he anchored the innings. In a BCCI video, Suryavanshi credited Shubman Gill for inspiring him to score big runs.

"I got a lot of inspiration from him because I watched his game. Even after scoring 100 and 200 runs, he kept playing and kept taking the team forward. I had in mind that I could have played longer because I had a lot of time left. There were 20 overs still remaining. There was one shot where I didn't give my 100% and that's why I got out. I will try to play for a long time like him," he said.
