Virat Kohli was filled with emotions as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won their first-ever Indian Premier League title after beating Punjab Kings in the grand finale on Tuesday, June 3. After securing a tight six-run win, Kohli was looking for his friend and ex-RCB teammate AB de Villiers, as the former wished to share an emotional hug with the South African international, who retired as one of the most iconic figures for the franchise.

In the jam-packed field in Motera as the players and match officials flocked the boundary lines after the win, de Villiers was not easily visible to Kohli, as he eagerly looked for his friend who was present at the venue for the special occasion. The moment Kohli's eyes spotted the former wicketkeeper-batter, he ran towards him and shared an emotional hug.
