Unmukt, now 32, last played competitive cricket in July while representing Vegas Vikings at the 2025 MAX60 Caribbean. He had recently been a part of Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) during Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025. It was highly expected that he would make it to USA's squad for the T20 World Cup 2024.
