There were two main topics around which the cricketing trends revolved on Monday. Ambati Rayudu turned 34 and was greeted by many of his mates. Harbhajan Singh called him ‘Angry Young Man’ in his tweet. Cheteshwar Pujara and Suresh Raina were amongst the several others who wished Rayudu. Most of the other trends revolved around the demise of Madhav Apte.

Sachin Tendulkar reminisced the moments when he played against this legend when he was 14. He said that the former cricketer always supported him. Wasim Jaffer was also all praise for Apte in his tweet. Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammad Kaif and many others mourned his demise. They wrote that they were deeply saddened by the death of Madhav Apte.

In other trends, Kedar Jadhav shared one of his workout pictures. Aakash Chopra expressed happiness about receiving a surprise from his daughter. India’s head coach Ravi Shastri tweeted that he was extremely pleased to be a part of the fundraising campaign to rebuild Karnataka. While Faheem Ashraf shared a selfie, Hassan Ali put up a motivational message.
