Cricketing universe exchanges Diwali greetings

Today, 30th October 2016 the entire nation is celebrating Diwali the festival of lights. Probably the biggest and the most celebrated festival in India; it symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The legend has it that Lord Ram having defeated Ravana and completed his 14 years exile returned back to the country and his kingdom in Ayodhya on the no moon day (Kartik Amavasya). The cricketing universe like it always does also got together and wished all their fans, the entire nation and everyone who is celebrating the festival on Twitter. On the occasion, following the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s initiative Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar Test skipper Virat Kohli, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh recorded special video messages for the Indian Army as the Army men stay away from their families even on festivals to ensure our safety and sacrifice their lives guarding the borders of the country. Virat said, “I, Virat Kohli, want to wish on this Diwali our jawans all the best,” “I know what it means staying away from the family.
