It was a tough call to make between Proteas paceman Kagiso Rabada and Pakistan’s Wahab Riaz. Riaz’s ability to hit the deck hard and put his body on the line for his team every single time is an impressive fact. But the presence of a left-arm fast bowler in the squad rolled the dice in Rabada’s favour.

From making a statement in the U19 level, Rabada made a quick move through the grades. The fact that makes Rabada stand out among his peers is that he has done well outside Africa. Out of a tally of 102 wickets from 22 Test matches, The pacer has scalped 41 of them away from home.
