Not often in T20 cricket, we get to see players scoring tons and taking 4-fers in the same match but it happened twice in this series. Kuldeep Yadav became the first chinaman to bag a 5-fer in the first T20I and KL Rahul followed it with an unbeaten century. Thus, that game became only the 2nd T20I to witness century and 5-fer. South Africa’s Morne van Wyk and Imran Tahir respectively scored a century and took 5-fer in the 2015 T20I against Windies.

Hardik Pandya took his maiden T20 4-wicket haul and Rohit followed it with his 3rd T20I century in Bristol making it only the 7th T20I with a century and 4-fer and only the 6th game with both of them recorded by the same team. Last three of those six instances have been recorded by India as Yuzvendra Chahal bagged a 4-fer during the 2017 Indore T20I against Sri Lanka when Rohit Sharma equalled the record for the fastest T20I ton.
