Ian Bell likely to come back for subcontinent tour

Veteran batsman Ian Bell might make a come back into the England squad, considering his experience in the sub-continent conditions and the out of sorts, England middle-order add value to the cause. The 34-year old was dropped from the squad following the 2-0 defeat against Pakistan at the United Arab Emirates in November last year. England head coach, Trevor Bayliss met Bell at Edgbaston last week on the final day of Warwickshire’s defeat by Surrey, in order to understand whether he still hold Test return ambitions. England middle-order batsmen, James Vince is expected to be dropped from the squad following a chastening series against Pakistan, where he managed to score just 158 runs from 7 innings. He failed to score even a single score of 50 or more in the series. Vince was slammed by former England captain and BBC commentator Geoffrey Boycott. “Vince’s shot was unbelievable,” Boycott told BBC. “He’s playing for his career because he’s had these tiny cameos of 20 and 30 (and) we’re all saying ‘can’t you bat any longer?’.
