After a one-sided affair against England during the third Test, team India is looking for another victory in the fourth Test. Well, the premier bowler of the team, Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the squad. Bumrah has been granted leave, because of personal reasons. This means that captain Kohli can try out some combinations.

This is mainly because there is a high probability that the Englishmen might fail to save the final Test too! And many bowlers are waiting to throw their hat in the competition. This means that healthy competition is on the cards for the Indian cricket team. And it is a difficult task to fill up the shoes of a bowler like Bumrah!

The Indian cricket team has many bowlers who are capable enough to win matches on their day. It depends on the management to whom they would like to give the chance. If they will go with a spinner, Kuldeep will be the first choice. Adding on, if they are looking for a seamer, there are few options available as well!

Let us look at the 3 players who can replace Jasprit Bumrah in the playing XI for the 4th Test

Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the finest spinners for Indian cricket recently. However, due to multiple overseas tours, he has been overlooked. With the rise of the modern-day giant, Ravi Ashwin, the management did not require the services of Yadav that much. Therefore, he had to wait for more than 2 years to make his comeback into the Test squad. And, with Bumrah, not present, he might get his chance during the fourth Test!

Yadav has played 7 Test matches so far. And he has been a bowler who can pick wickets. In the seven Test matches he has played, Yadav has picked up 26 wickets with an economy rate of 3.5. Therefore, if the management requires someone to assist Axar and Ashwin, Yadav is a perfect choice.

Yadav is not the worst tail-ender. In the seven matches he has played, his highest score is 26. Therefore, he can join any batsman to occupy the crease for long periods. Kuldeep can provide crucial breakthroughs for the captain too. Hence, he can replace Bumrah in the playing eleven!
