Once India’s U-19 captain, Ishan Kishan makes the cut as the last player in the middle-order for the Uncapped XI. Born on the 18th of July 1998, the batsman from Jharkhand is one for the future. The left-hander has shown signs of power-hitting and calmness while plying his trade for the Gujarat Lions from the year 2016.

In the limited appearances that he got, the left-hander has made 277 runs for the Lions at an average of 27.70 and a strike-rate of 134.46. His statistics has improved drastically from his first season, where he averaged a meager 8.40 compared to his second season’s average of 22.75.
