The Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Banglore on April 25, 2018, locked horns for the first time in this year’s IPL at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. This venue has been regarded as one of the high scoring grounds in India and has been a batsman’s paradise since its inception.

The trend still continued yesterday as Royal Challengers posted a mammoth 205 runs on board to make the chase a little difficult for the visitors. However, match-winning knocks from CSK opener Ambati Rayudu and the Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made it easier for Chennai to chase the target with two balls to spare.

Anushka is back

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, a dedicated supporter of the Royal Challengers Bangalore made her comeback to the stadium on Wednesday to cheer her husband. Earlier, she gave her support for RCB’s first two home games and was unable to attend the previous home game due to shooting commitments.

Anushka is considered as the lucky prospect for Virat Kohli. She was found to be helpful for Virat on many occasions and thus she started to accompany her husband lately. However, her presence didn’t help him yesterday as the men in yellow emerged victorious in a last over thriller.

On the other hand, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi was also spotted in the stands cheering her husband and it turned out to be a productive visit for her. She witnessed him smash 70 runs off 34 deliveries and went home completely satisfied.

Mixed emotions for Anushka

Anushka Sharma was seen cheering on the stands for Virat as he went past Suresh Raina to become the highest run scorer in IPL. During this process, Kohli also registered 2000 runs in Chinnaswamy stadium. In contrast, it was a day of anguish and pain as the fans started to blame her for RCB’s loss. She looked worried in the latter of part of the match as Dhoni and Rayudu took the game away from Kohli’s men.
